Tennis Competitions create opportunities for kids. Competing is an important aspect for the development of your kid’s tennis to gain experience, practice what they have learnt during their tennis lessons, learn to score and to socialise. 

The ANZ Hot Shots Tennis Comps (for 5-13yr olds) and Yellow Ball Comps (for Under 18s) are designed specifically to teach children how to score, where to stand on a tennis court and how to play the game of tennis from an early age. 

  • Players play on the smaller tennis courts, using lighter tennis racquets and low compression tennis balls that don’t bounce too high, making it fun and easy for participants to compete.
  • Participants compete based on what stage of the player development they are up to in the tennis program.
  • Each stage has different match formats to ensure participants are given the best on-court experience for their playing ability.
